It seems to me that British people in general look upon coloured people as scum and animals. They are frequently used as scapegoats to explain why unemployment and rioting exists in our society. Unemployment is not solely caused by the immigrant population, but by the world depression and the horrendous wage claims by the population. Many coloureds are unemployed as a result of the reluctance of some employers to break down racial barriers.

After the Second World War, there was an influx of immigrants to fill the job vacancies in many of the service industries, and so many became employed as bus conductors and railway staff. Immigrants have been driven into our country due to the tyrannical governments in their homelands and the wars which are also raging between their countrymen. The British belong to the United Nations and part of their role is to help the Third World and other nations by charitable efforts, however this help is often misplaced by some governments abroad. A great deal of British people are willing to give this aid, but when it comes to letting them live in our country in relative peace and quiet, it is a completely different matter.

Turning to the recent riots in the inner cities. The outbreak of violence has of course been blamed on the coloureds, yet there were a large number of whites on the streets as well. Many people have failed to appreciate the problems of the blacks and it is now that we should attempt to put things right.
